At March 1st Full Council; Solihull Council was urged by local Christian Aid campaigners, faith groups, church-goers and Green Party councillors to send a clear message to companies bidding for council contracts:

At 1st March budget-setting Council meeting, Green Party councillors raised concerns about the proposed cuts being “hidden” and disguised by the ruling Conservatives. They called for more honesty with the public about the impact the cuts would have on residents.
